The preview scans are finally available for the first issue of the Django Unchained comic that was announced in July at Comic-Con. Click on each picture to see the full-size scan. The comic depicts a scene already shown in the movie trailer, so there aren’t any spoilers here.

Here are some key details about the Django Unchained comic:

• R.M. Guéra will be handling the interior art for the entire series. Guéra is most known for his art in the comic book series Scalped.

• Issue #1 will be released on December 19th.
• Issue #2 will be released on January 2nd.
• There will be five issues total. The issues will be based on the original screenplay and will include scenes that did not make it into the final cut.
